At today’s White House press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was confronted on a recent bombshell report by CNN that indicated that US officials have now seen information that suggests Trump campaign associates may have coordinated with Russia to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Asked if he could respond to the story or provide a definitive yes or no on whether those associates did make those contacts, Spicer decided to invoke news that was broken via WikiLeaks.
“There’s probably more evidence that CNN colluded with the Clinton campaign to give her questions than the Trump campaign gave any kind of collusion,” the press sec stated, after reading a bit from the piece.
Spicer was obviously referencing the revelation that Donna Brazile provided questions to Clinton’s campaign in a Democratic debate while Brazile was working at CNN.
