A user of the popular Reddit.com website seeking to buy ads in the r_TheDonald subreddit noticed that the number of subscribers in the advertising purchasing system (listed at 6, 014,248) was significantly different than the number of subscribers represented on the r_TheDonald subreddit front page (listed at 385.505).
The user posted the following screenshot to the subreddit where it quickly rose to the front page:

Another user posted simple instructions for viewing the discrepancy directly on the website:
1) Go here: https://about.reddit.com/advertise/
2) Click ‘Get Started’ for their advertising platform
3) Click ‘Target Specific Subreddits’
4) Plug in the_donald under ‘Subreddits’
5) You will see the current subscriber count to the right of its name (the_donald).

While Reddit has every right to operate their website however they see fit, Reddit users have the right to stop using Reddit and to spend their time at a competitors website instead.
Voat.co is one of Reddit’s strongest competitors (with about 5 million vistors a month) and if you use Reddit and support Donald Trump, we recommend you create an account at Voat.co and be sure to use the site on a regular basis.
